In the News: You can now edit Microsoft Documents in Google Docs
Google Announced today at their I/O Developer conference that you can now edit documents originally created by a Microsoft Office Product (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) inside Google Docs (Doc, Sheets, Slides).
In the past you could store Microsoft documents in Google Drive and preview them, but not edit. Now you can do it all. What's more, there is now one more reason to switch to Google Apps for Business.
This new functionality is available immediately if your accessing Google Drive from your browser. If you're working from a mobile device you will need to update your apps for Docs, Sheets, and the new Slides App.
If this was your final road block and you're ready to take the leap and use Google Apps for Business give us a shout.
